Our annual and this will be our tradition thingie - right after school we head for Yosemite. We have done this 2 years in a roll. Guess what, the tradition got cut partly this year. Hubby couldn't get any campsite for Yosemite this year. But hey he said we are not breaking tradition so we went to Big Basin (near Santa Cruz). This place is nice and quiet. The shower facility is so close by. The girls love it and I told hubby this would be a nice place to go camping each year. There was only one thing bad about this place - mosquitoes were all in full force. We had to leave a day early because they kept eating us alive. Between the 4 of us, we had over 50 bites. Hubby was the worst - probably his blood was sweeter because of his diabetes. Hopefully next year we can go back to Yosemite.

busy summer

Have a ever have a summer where you just don't want to do anything? Well that's me this summer but my family isn't on the waveline as me. For example, last Monday was 4th of July. Yes, you would think you just wanted to stay home and have a bbq. Nope, my family was invited to a friend's house for bbq and we were there for over 8 hrs. Yes, I was ready to fall into bed when I got home.

This week the girls are at UCI for their writing/math classes. I would think I have all the time while they are at the camp - wrong, I have been running around all over the places.

I am planning to do absolutely nothing for next summer - not!
